There is an element of luck involved in football, and every adult understands that.
I don't feel acknowledging that will bring anything to the conversation.

My guarantee is that if we added Fabregas to last years squad (even include Fernandinho/ Navas if you want) then it would not automatically equal a CL final.

Isco still has youth and lack of fear on his side. Nasri was scintillating early in his penultimate season with Arsenal but now somehow seems scared to commit defenders way he used to. I hope he can get this side of his game back. If not Isco will be a better player for us for the future.

Talk about Irony.
You refer me to Fm13 forums ( whatever that means) for enjoying a smidgen of optimism, but you say "I guarantee" when referring to my team's (as I'm not sure its the same team we are watching) chances of making the Cl final with Navas, Fabregad and Fernandinho added to the team.

How can a team with Kompany, Yaya, Silva, Tevez, Aguero, Hart, Fernandinho, Fabregas and Zabaleta not have a chance of making the Cl final? All world class players.
And I'm the one that has a problem with realism? How about reality?
