Isco

Re: Isco (Part 7 (weekend saga part 2))

Maybe that is why we were told by Tolmie another 24 hours, time to negotiate with Malaga.

Listen carefully - I shall say this only once. This deal is still very much alive. Madrid have made a higher offer currently but it's my understanding he definitely wants to come to us. If we match Madrid's offer then it's a done deal. If we don't then it's 50:50.

2 people I know are very much ITK have said this in the last hour or so, plus tolmie, who is usually very reliable and trustworthy, has also said it's still on. So ignore all the shit that he's done a deal with Madrid. Malaga have accepted an offer from them it seems but that does not count as "done".

How do for sure. cuz i really believe he will be forced to go for Madrid (even though he will never play)

Oh ffs.. did you read his post or what..???????????/

Wonder Why we won't pay what Madrid has offered? Is it that city know Isco wants to come to us so we sticking it out seems a dangerous game..

Wondering the same myself. I can't believe we won't match 24m when we threw down 30m on Fernandinho.

You are both guessing

Real Madrid's bid is reported to be £23million AFTER addons (about £20.5million up front). If we refuse to match that I'll be astounded.

The problem will be trust now and City will not want to get in a bidding war. Would you buy a car from a bloke who agreed a price and then upped the price because someone else was interested. "Tell you what son, just give us another five grand and its yours". You'd tell him to f*** off wouldn't you or at least think hard about it before dropping your pants!!!

If true we must be haggling over a few million absolute max. For Isco, player of the U21 tournament, a player our new manager specifically requested (supposedly) and highly believes in .. seriously?

You cannot blame the selling club for taking the highest bid. Different thing if the lower bid had already been accepted however. just like being gazumped for a property. i would match the RM bid as this is now a statement of intent. RM trying to push us around, they wont even play him regularly.

You can tell its stressful when Love City starts getting some shit.

Hopefully PB is on the ball. If it's just about a few quid more for Malaga they can have my 25 quid Vivago voucher.

I'll throw mine in as well.

Who'd have thought it 5 years ago.

"Massive* Manchester City battling Real Madrid for the best young player in Spain.

Fuck how times have changed!
