I rate him high and definitely wouldn't be upset if he moved here but it's a big no from me currently isn't at silvas or De bruynes level in my opinion so there wouldn't be a starting spot and the last thing we need is another 30mil obstacle for our talented youth players. Silva is playing out of his skin at the minute and we have so very talented cms in the youth teams who should be given a chance.
 
no one can replace Merlin, but Isco one of the best young attacking midfielder out there.
he and KDB are almost similar age, perfectly fit in City first team for the next 4,5 years.
get him and another young Regista, and City are set in midfield area.

2 new player - with Silva, KDB, Dinho, Gundogan, Yaya and A.Garcia
sell/release - Nasri, Delph & Nando

as for Yaya, despite his (and his agent) antics in the past,
i like his current role to young City players.
in his current form and new attitude, he deserve a new contract.
 
His transfer partly fell apart last time because we wouldn't make dodgy paymens to his father - doubt the terms will be any different next time - so we should stay well clear.
 
This is a crime, the fact he didn't sign for us when HE wanted to is wrong. Everyone knew his move wouldn't work out. This was a bad career decision for him. Haven't a clue if this new news is accurate, but I'm still smarting from him not coming first time round if I'm honest
 
Not a bad choice but more of a Pellegrini type of project signing and will probably not add to what we currently have got.
 
Brahim is an ideal replacement for Dave in a couple of years. Forget Isco he turned us down for a club he publicly stated he would never join.

I said it last summer we need to replace ageing players with young hungry ones wether Isco is the one I don't know but he is the right age
The thing Utd have always been good at is being ruthless moving players on ,they get the best ten years out of them and move them on and get back what they paid
The time is getting close for Silva to be fazed out .
I know it hurts because for me he has been the greatest of our modern era doesn't moan or cause trouble and a true professional , the only thing that stops him being truly world class is a few more goals each season.in his prime he was amazing not sure how we managed to keep him away from the Madrids and Barca

Agree Silva is not getting any younger but his game is not pace dependent

About time some of our youth were pushing for a starting place

i completely agree but getting isco to take over dave's role going forward isnt a terrible idea either
