I'll take all the tips I can get. Never even been to another country where the weather has been over 25°C. I assumed you're supposed to just get naked and lie on the floor in the dark eating Soleros.

Took a bottle of water with me to the bottom on the garden with me but took me 5 mins to get ready with suntan oil

Just been to allotment for an hour of weeding. Fine at whatever 2X degrees it was... until the breeze stopped and it was a very hot sun. another what ... 15 degrees on top of that :-0

Cant leave windows open at night in a bungalow unless you own an attack dog to guard you so been kicking merlin out at six in the mornings so i can open all the doors and windows , 24 in my bedroom every night is annoying , today there is a great breeze going through , close them when merlin comes in to stay in

Wtf are you talking about?

My general point was the pointlessness of GP surgeries sending a text to all and sundry (OK maybe not everybody received one) telling them that it’s going to be hot and to be careful.

I decided to combine it with a rant with how useless GP surgeries have become. They should be making sure they have the basics of patient care sorted before taking to the phones, social media etc.

Apologies to anybody I have confused or offended. Carry on and “enjoy” the sun.

Woo Hoo!!! You've done it sir, you've only fucking done it. This is the missing Brexit benefit. It has finally been found.
We have to drink gallons of water and we can only do that because we are out of the EU. And gallons are bigger than litres so it must be a benefit.
Someone call Rees-Smug; the Brexit benefit has been found. Best be quick or it will evaporate in the heat.

Leaving the doors and windows open all day in hot weather only warms up the house for the night time, you need to close them all and the curtains/blinds.
