It hasn't upset me as much as I thought I would

Fucking gutted too mate, so can't imagine how gutted the fans are who actually managed to get there. Its embarrassing imo the ones who say they are not bothered. How can you not be bothered we lost in a champions league final???? Blows my fucking mind. I was devastated last night, I still am now but I was more gutted for the fans that went and didn't get to see our best 11 on that pitch.
10 stops on the Porto metro from the airport and then I get to watch gloating chelsea fans again. They deserved the win, doesn’t make it any easier. I feel privileged to have had a ticket, but I know the despair is just as bad watching it on the telly, for most anyway

I'm disappointed because of the team selection and poor performance. It was a great chance to win this competition and we blew it and these chances don't come around often. Roll on next season.

todays a new day tomorrows another day the CL final is history now, the next final we can take 10,000 fans and have a proper day out,,whens the fixtures out chaps
There were more than 10k in Porto mate. 6k with City tickets, 2k to 3k probably with uefa tickets, and while I was there I spoke to as many people who didn’t have tickets as who did. It was a great trip, just a shit result

Philosophically, I think these moments and being less cut up is part of our growing up as a club (or maybe just me growing up?)

I'm not even feeling a great need keep booing the jingle any more, maybe because we've come through the fire on that front, and so now it's down to us to own the failures, take something from them (eh, Pep? ;) ) and move on.

This will allow us to keep doing the things we do well - which have been proven to work. (Team selection wise, that's what didn't happen last night btw).

I can honestly say that it feels no worse than a league defeat. I thought I’d be mortified but actually I got over it very quickly. Maybe I’d have thought differently if we hadn’t already won the double. My only concern were two 17 and 19 year old sons being so gutted. I hate uefa with a passion and will never warm to their corrupt competitions. I didn’t want the super league in the format they came up with at all but if a suitable future break away from uefa came up I’d be all for it. For those wanting pep out - well they’re not real fans are they? Or just incredibly spoilt or thick. When he goes the domestic trophies will be less and less common and our era of domestic dominance will be over. We’ll still be a top team but no where near what we are now. I’m just happy this season is now over and we can probably have a proper parade/celebration and get back to attending the etihad in a few months time

Gutted ain't the word. Sick of this, "we're still English Champions and League Cup winners" and "we will win it one day , our time will come". We could and should have had big ears in the cabinet last night. Pep's team selection and a few players not on their game. A massive opportunity missed against a stubborn, organised albeit very beatable Chelsea team. Off to open a can!
