Yaya Toure's agent claims that Manchester City have greatly hurt the player, and that he could leave. Concentrating on World Cup for now.

YAYA TOURE wants to quit Manchester City.
The Ivory Coast superstar dropped his bombshell just a week after leading the club to a second title in three seasons.

And the powerhouse, 31, is so disillusioned with City he would even take a pay cut to rejoin Barcelona. His agent Dimitri Seluk said: “Yaya is so upset he’s thinking of leaving City.

“There are a number of things that have happened that have left Yaya feeling bitterly upset. He must concentrate on the World Cup now.

“But City have treated him with disrespect and have really hurt him.”

Toure earns £220,000 a week after signing a new four-year deal and was hailed as City’s best player as they romped to the title.

He signed the contract only last April and is not looking for a new one.

But the Etihad ace is ready to walk out because of the behaviour of certain people at the club.

Seluk added: “They don’t know that money can’t buy relationships — no Sheikh can buy a relationship.

“This isn’t about money or a new contract — it’s about human relationships and City have shown they don’t respect him.

“I repeat, this is not about money. In fact, he would take less to return to Barcelona.”

I seem to remember this time last year that Yaya's agent was saying he wanted to leave.
More bullshit.

Is this not a rehash, didn't something similar happen a year back his agent spouting bollocks about not being loved and appreciated..

Re: It is oh so quiet in here thread for 2014 summer transfe

Correct me if I am wrong but I am sure Dimitri Seluk isn't Yaya's agent.

20th March 2013
------------------------------

Yaya Toure has threatened to quit Manchester City unless he is handed a new deal – by this SATURDAY.

The Ivorian midfielder has been in talks over a new contract for six months but they have stalled.

The 29-year-old still has more than two years to run on his £220,000-a-week deal but in an astonishing outburst last night his agent, Dimitri Seluk, issued City with an stark ultimatum.

Seluk said: “If he signs a contract in the next three or four days, okay.

“If not, we will not wait any longer and will start negotiations with different clubs.

“Today is Tuesday, so it means by Saturday. We will say, ‘Thank you. Okay. Yaya will leave in May.’

“I do not feel he will stay at City. This is not about money. He wants to leave for many reasons.

“He is one of the best players at the club but does not feel the respect of the staff. Only Roberto Mancini respects Yaya
