I think this is a massive game for City tomorrow, we've got 3 players in Walker, Stones and Sterling who IMO are slightly held back because they really don't know just how good they are.
Part of that is probably because every 2 months the leave the bubble of City where they play brilliantly every week, and go to an England camp where everyone is undermining them and wanting them dropped.
People talk about Sterling's place being questioned, but no one outside City wanted Walker anywhere near the team. Reece James, Alexander-Arnold, Trippier, Wan-Bissaka - everyone wanted someone other than Walker.
Stones has still not got the praise he deserves for his performances although people are starting to switch on, but going into the tournament everyone was saying the CBs were a weak point because Stones was there without Maguire.
I think winning tomorrow, and all the adulation and celebration and honours would give those 3 guys a real permanent confidence and hopefully a bit of arrogance and swagger that they lack a bit and that would be great for City.
