FIrst things first. Great result beating Italy in thir own back yard. Should have been an easier win though with Grealish missing a relatively easy chance to make it 3. 2nd half Italy came out with more intent and England lost all composure with even simple passes going nowhere near a team-mate at times. England dropped far too deep and allowed Italy to play and we had no out ball and ended up giving the ball straight back to Italy on the rare occasions we won it back. The ref was pretty diabolical all game but the players should have recognised that he was standing for no time-wasting after the first yellow was issued. Stupid challenge from Shaw to get sent off within a minute of receiving his first booking. Feel sorry for Phil getting sacrificed and thought his fresh legs would have been better to stay on. At least the James & Gallagher substitutions allowed us to hang on.
 
Declan Rice says he can’t see Harry Kane’s goal scoring record being broken, unless we get another goal scorer like Harry.
