They also had a keeper that had won a raffle to play.

Fair enough. Still think their keeper was decent in the tournament. Matters not now, they’re out.

If Spain had a cutting edge they would have pissed it. Italy very lucky to go through, which is more to do with Spain's lack of composure and quality in front of goal.

That’s a bizarre thing to say.
but to counter it, in commentary should they do, I’d wager that it would be mentioned. Italy win it in England. I’d also say they’d mention he’s won it where he won the FA Cup. And of course there he lost it.

It's the standard RDAHMeedya narrative. No mention of City but swamp the punters with gratuitous mentions and video snips of Rags 'n Dippers.
