Shearer has it spot on, Italy have that mean mentality, they will do whatever it takes to win. They remind me of the speech given in the film Stir Crazy about the bull, if anyone remembers it.

I'm a little concerned too many people seem to be thinking it's a formality were in the final, I'm sure it will fire Denmark up.

If Spain had a cutting edge they would have pissed it. Italy very lucky to go through, which is more to do with Spain's lack of composure and quality in front of goal.

You could argue that Spain were lucky to get past Switzerland on penalties - they had the best team performance of the competition tonight but not the best overall team of the tournament in my opinion
