it wouldnt suprise me at all if we ended up with RSC

Mh has said numerous times that we need a front man who is big and can win the ball in the air etc etc.....RSC fits this bill and Mh has worked with him before......

I only hope that he is not the only forward we go for........tevez doesnt fit the bill of an out and out forward either

a front 4-5 of:

rsc
bellamy
tevez
boj
????????......this last place needs to be an eto'o/torres/drogba type player.....an all round forward who can lead the line with power and pace and strength....both good on teh ground and in the air........all theother four poseess one or more of these qualities but not all of them

add cover for swp (weiss??) and a footballing centre half and that would eb a good start to the squad building

get rid of vass, benjani, evans, sturridge, jo and caceido
the trouble is rsc,boj and bellamy are continually injured and miss large chunks of the season

true, bellamy is a constant injury concern.
boj...i think he has just been very unlucky....two totally unrelated injuries (whereas bellamy is usually the same sort of injuries)
RSC.not sure what his injury history is like, whether it is reoccuring injuries or just random ones

This would be a great signing in my opinion. Top quality player, and the type of player that we don't have at the moment. Just make sure that the medical is a thorough one please!

better than what we have and it will piss bent harry off.so i am happy with him as long as we get a few others

IF he can stay fit and
IF he can replicate his form from season before last

then he could be a good player for us

Two damn big "IFs" though.............................

The big worry is that since he left his homeland he has only had one good season.

I'm not keen on buying him, but if we do we must not pay anywhere near what we were prepared to pay in January.

Teach twats like Fat Sam that it's not in their best interests to piss us about.

Quality player. Has everything we need. Only a fool would object on footballing grounds. BUT: can he stay fit?

We also mustn't pay too much, as fat shit Sam needs teaching a lesson. £12m tops. £8m would be fair.

Lets not forget that Bayern ****** let him go for £3million because of his time on the treatment table. For us to pay the reported £18million for him to do the same for us is just stupid business IMO.

Personally i think RSC has signed already, GC wants a higher profile signing to be made before it is announced however as he knows a lot of fans will be underwhelmed by it.

Good signing for me.

I can't see him having signed already in all honesty mate, mainly coz Fat Sam wouldn't have been able to keep his mouth shut if he had. I've nothing against RSC except for his injury record. If he comes in with 2/3 other strikers then he could be a really good signing but if we're going to be relying on him then it's a huge gamble.

He had athroscopy on his right knee towards the end of the season. It was reported that no major surgical procedure was required, and that the long term prognosis was excellent.

He has had a lot of injury problems in his career, but that doesn't mean he will continue to suffer, that depends on the nature of the injury. Hughes, and his medical staff should know a lot more about his health than all you cynics who are commenting with very little knowledge of the player, or sports medicine.

City have been putting Non disclosure notices on deals at the minute have't they. Or maybe its 99% done. I'm only speculating.

I do know he was in a solicitors about 6 weeks ago on quay street talking about an employemt contract issue. whether that was regarding his contract with blackburn or someone else i don't know
