RSC is overvalued, injury plagued and had one good season in the last ten...not the sort of player we need or City should aspire to have.
At Bayern ****** for 4 seasons, the question mark is not his ability, but his fitness.

Leave that to the doctors, none of us really know his physical condition. I think his last injury was tendonitis in the knee. That can be solved with rest and rehab over the Summer, and if the player works hard, and is supervised properly he can make a full recovery. Bellamy has a very similar injury. Takes 3 months. If there's scar tissue, or any underlying problem in the joint it can re-occur, but that's why clubs have medicals.

Here here. It mystifies me why people complain about RSC on ability grounds, or dismiss it as being in Hughes' 'comfort zone'. (Actually an accusation without basis when you examine his transfer record.) What's not to like? The lad is a quality player.

I would agree on the medical issues: they're a worry, but it's an issue we can only guess at. Best to leave it to the professionals.

Also, according to ever-reliable wikipedia, his total appearances in each of the last 3 seasons are 35, 43 and 27 - not a huge number, but certainly not disastrously low. Makes you wonder whether the talk of him being a crock is slightly over-done.

If we are going to bring in RSC,Tevez and Eto'o/Villa/a.n.other then I would be more than pleased with that for the summer signings in attack....that would give us real options up front, with height/speed/tenacity and goal threats from set pieces and open play, throw Bellamy and Robinho into the mix,and maybe Bojinov (although I have a sneaking suspicion he may be gone this summer) with Caicedo out on loan.
