Man city are interested in Giovinco. Reports have come out from Italy that juventus plan on buying out Giovincos half contract from parma and intend to cash in on him. Reports also from Juventus that they're looking at Dzeko.

A possibly swap deal? Dzeko for Giovinco?

I personally would love this, although I love Dzeko, Giovinco is my favorite player and would offer a lot more. thoughts?

Dzeko and Giovinco are very different players.

Saw Giovinco play a number of years ago at the under 21 euro championships, looked a good player but hasn't exactly set the word a light.

I think he'd struggle here

Not happy about Ausillin bring released, a promising talent I am sure we could have signed and loaned and sold down the line for a few quid. Why Bridge hasn't been sold is beyond me, heck let the guy go on a free and even offer a small settlement. Maybe a year's wages instead of keeping him here for the 2. That way we save 4.6 million. He could sign for someone else then. Sick of that ambitionless twat lingering around. His dismissal of a request by Celtic on loan (at no detriment or cost to himself) and instead warming the bench sickens me.

Gai Aussie is no longer a promising talent my friend..

Why don't people trust Mancini?

I just hope you're not doing any real life job that includes doing stuff with other people's money :)

This is what his agent said earlier:

"If Juventus and Parma can reach an agreement then the issue will be resolved," he told Tele Radio Stereo. "Sebastian has had a great season, thanks to the excellent work of Roberto Donadoni.

"The coach called him the best Italian talent. We expect that the two clubs will speak. I doubt that the move to Manchester City is possible, especially as they have so many players in attack already like Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko."

He is a talent imo, just not one for City.

I do mate. It just upsets me seeing youth go. Once upon a time we used to field lots of City players i.e Brought through.

Even though i'm on top of the world in regards to where we are going, I still feel like we are losing our connection to our academy. Look at Guidetti, kid ripped it up in Holland and now he looks forward to a sub role or bit part player. He's a promising talent lets not forget. Then you have Rekik, Suarez and Bunn just to name a few, what will they have to do to try and uproot the likes of Kompany, Lescott, Silva, Nasri, Aguero. They are almost destined to fail here in that respect because unless they are prodigies then they are breaking through to first team. Not moaning about our strength, just gutted we are likely to see more bought players than promoted.

On the whole the glass is very full, no doubt. Trappings of success I suppose.

his agent is right, Giovinco is a good player but not better than what we already have.

A greed, much like Cerci.

Agents just name-drop us now. That's why all those stupid jokes about us being linked with everything under the son including the pope in a £100million deal etc.

Only Wingers we should target are Hazard (central player too), Bale, Lavezzi (CMF who can play role). It's just that 3rd runner that can blister his way through and can put a ball in the danger zone from wide positions as well as the killer ball through. That needed player for Defense-minded teams. I genuinely see us beating the 90 point barrier next season with these improvement.
