I like the look of what TH is saying. RVP in ( but Dzeko out:-( ) Bale and Martinez in and Ade out with possible AJ out and Sturridge back in.
This could spell end for Nige :-(. And Kolo........ but a look at squad suggests not A definite improvement without a major over hall.

Kolorov position seems to have gone quiet though.

Hart
MR/PZ VK/Kolo/MR JL/Martinez GC/AK

Yaya/ND GB/Martinez

Sturridge/Naz. Silva/Milner. Aguero/ Tevev. Bale/Balo

RVP

A strong squad with homegrown covered and net 60 million spend ....... And space left for a couple of youngsters.

Not impressed with Savic but could convert to DM, he seemed to be good at distributing the ball.

Some of you really are clueless about the game and what makes a good player!! :(

RVP would be an excellent signing in my opinion.

He has alays been top class but last season he really 'came of age' and had clearly finally 'got' being a striker.

If we look at his stats over the last 4 seasons -

2011/12 - Apps 47 Goals 37 Assists 15

2010/11 - Apps 33 Goals 22 Assists 7

2009/10 - Apps 20 Goals 10 Assists 8

2008/9 - Apps 44 Goals 20 Assists 15

Played 144, Scored 89, Assisted 45

So adding together his goals scored and assists he's delivered (been directly involved in the scoring of) some 134 goals in 144 appearances.

That equates to an average of 34 goals per season he's played a part in.

and for those of you who consider him a crock he's played an average of 36 games per season over the last 4 seasons.

At 29, yes he's no spring chicken, but he has 3 years left. Look at the stats above and explain why he wouldn't make an excellent addition to our squad?

This may sound like a crazy statement but I'd take Sturridge over rvp. That is only if none of are strikers are sold. The reason being tbh we don't need rvp, we scored enough goals last season id rather take a younger player with huge potential who mancini can develop into a very good player, rather than get another quality striker which we already have 4.
sturridge is a jumped up little shite who didnt give a shit about us when he fucked off!! we`ve moved on from players like him now!
Yeh I don't think even think most Chelsea fans really rate him. They played Birmingham at home in the cup last year and he was gettin a lot of moans & groans from the fans. Near the end he had the ball did a few trick, Torres was in the middle on his own, Sturridge decides to blast it over and it had all the fans up in arms shouting get him off. Sturridge did some arrogant look to the fans as if do u kno who I am?

Move on from players like that in my opinion!

I remember that mate. I thought "you disrespectful cock" at the time. Pure arrogance and childish to snatch the ball out of the hands of our 'designated' and somewhat fantastic penalty taker.

Falcao has better stats, (albeit in a variety of comps), he has scored 123 goals in 169 appearances in the last 4 seasons thats an average of over 30 goals scored per season plus he is a good age 26!

No excuse for it even though he did win it, typifies him for me

I wouldn't turn my nose up at RVP, but Falcao would be my choice. Destined to be a major star imo.
