although i think falcao is a great player and good at what he does, i do not feel he is as technically as gifted as RVP. i think what he does in the leagues he has played is take advantage of the rather poor defending in the leagues winning a lot of headers i dont think he would win in the prem but this is just my opinion i wouldnt mind either but i just think RVP is probably the better player for our team.

richards - kompany - lescott - clichy
------yaya ----- martinez---------
Silva-----------Aguero--------Bale
--------------RVP----------------

subs: johnson, balotelli, nasri, zab, barry, pantillimon

Now thats a strong team. Martinez or Richards can cover centre back if anyone gets injured. Barry can come in to see out important games. Balotelli, Nasri or johnson can change a game. We can create width as well as a maintain our fluid passing with the likes of bale, aguero, silva, nasri and johnson and we would have 2 major goal scorers within the team.

I hope these signings take place!

And you think RVP scores goals from the halfway line?? Majority of his goals have been simple tap-ins - the result of a tactical play. What sets him apart from the other strikers is his positioning, knowing where the ball will be as he starts his run into the box..

And that's probably why City is interested in RVP..we're looking for a lethal finisher who can score goals from the numerous chances we usually get..

Aguero was at his best last season as the man up top, on the shoulder of the last man... not as the one behind the main striker.

In my opinion.

I agree, would it be outrageous to say that because of the runs he makes, with the right service, he could score 35-40 goals in the premier league alone next season as long as he stays fit? I honestly don't think so.

Why do people still insist on Falcao?

He would cost upwards of £50 million + wages so I'm pretty sure no team, let alone us, is going to cough up that much money on one player this summer.

I'm starting to think most people can't tell the difference bewteen Football Manager and real life

While he may indeed cost 40-45mil, I think the most crucial evidence of City not going for Falcao is that Mancini did not make any mention of him during his interview, while Cavani and RVP was.

Unless it's really a smokescreen, these two are the only forwards Mancini is interested in..

think barry will still be in the team next year, with martinez playing at centre back if he comes
