Can't believe anyone would drop Clichy after the way he played last year.

This

double this.
Triple negative this ^^^

I win.

Seriously I rate Clichy very highly but I am guessing Kolorov is going so I'd want a better lb than Clichy. IMhumbleO Marcelo is one of the world's best.

So, because you think Kolarov's leaving you want to bring in someone who is better that Clichy? I don't follow that logic?

It is a commonly held belief i believe that you get better than the first choice player if his backup goes. Today's primary is tomorrows secondary.

But I'm just posting on the chance that Mancini is trawling the Internet for signs of my advice. He may not even read this.

So, when we sold Given you wanted someone better than Hart brought in?

although i think falcao is a great player and good at what he does, i do not feel he is as technically as gifted as RVP. i think what he does in the leagues he has played is take advantage of the rather poor defending in the leagues winning a lot of headers i dont think he would win in the prem but this is just my opinion i wouldnt mind either but i just think RVP is probably the better player for our team.

And you think RVP scores goals from the halfway line?? Majority of his goals have been simple tap-ins - the result of a tactical play. What sets him apart from the other strikers is his positioning, knowing where the ball will be as he starts his run into the box..

And that's probably why City is interested in RVP..we're looking for a lethal finisher who can score goals from the numerous chances we usually get..

Difference is RVP has been doing it against the best defences in the world falcao hasnt thats all i am pointing out, i am not saying falcao is not good i just think it is more of a risk than RVP

Yes. I'd have been wrong but yes I wanted a proven player rather than Pantilemon

Along with his partner in crime Pepe, one of the dirtiest gits in Spanish football...not to mention snide and cheating git as well...

I really don't understand how people wouldn't want Clichy as No1 left-back for a long time to come.

This season he has fulfilled the potential he had at Arsenal when people were excited just after he came in for Cole. I've seen lots of Marcelo also and the main difference I see is simply that Clichy decides to make fewer lethal runs forward.

I don't understand why the media haven't picked up on this this year and given him his due and at the same time slated Wenger for letting him go for £7m instead of rebuilding his confidence after a dodgy season amongst a dodgy team. He is a far better player than Baines, more consistent than Cole, and Marcelo is one of his few equals at world-level.

He did pretty well in the Europa final against a team that battered the rags home and away. IMO he is better buy than RVP.
