Why would he be frustrated? He is the manager of the Premier League champions.

Working on the proviso that as it stands we seem to be trying to sign Martinez, Bale and van Persie, I can't see any of their three Clubs making it easy for us - Arsenal certainly won't, and Tottenham will be an absolute nightmare even if they do ultimately let us sign one of their players - which I have my doubts about.

Not for United it isn't Tolm. They made it clear they wanted Kagawa and bang they get him. No mucking about. Year in year out old Whiskey Nose seems to get his business done early. It's clearly achievable.

The rule I made for myself is 10th July is the date, after that you can start watching things intently day by day and expecting the possibility of imminent signings, until then expect nothing. But obviously in practice this goes right out the window and impatience sets in from about a week after the last competitive game lol.

For what it is worth our squad is a young squad anyway and to re iterate it is not as though we need wholesale changes it is adding specific players into key areas.

Euros are on now until beginning of July.
Martinez and Van Persie will then go on holiday for probably 4 weeks that takes us up to beginning of August.
As for Bale he is already on holiday but will be probably picked for Olympics so that could then take us up to beginning of footie season.
We could be looking at last day transfer window drama here. :-)

I don't care if we don't sign anyone, we have the best team in the league and still will do at the end of the transfer window.
Chelsea signing Hazard, Marin and Hulk doesn't make them as strong as us.
United signing Kagawa doesn't make them as strong as us.

If we make a move, then fine, if we don't we will still be the best team in this league, and also more experienced in terms of being in a title race.

Im sorry but it doesn't take a genius to realise Kagawa isn't in the same league as Martinez, Bale and RVP. Id rather sit tight and fully pursue our targets of higher quality than shop in the bargain basement
