so is it just a case of waiting until the euros are over then trying to buy? when do we go on tour etc?

A case of waiting, full stop.

Forget any thinking that the end of the Euros will light the touch paper. Might for a couple, but could be a long summer before some clubs blink.

Not for United it isn't Tolm. They made it clear they wanted Kagawa and bang they get him. No mucking about. Year in year out old Whiskey Nose seems to get his business done early. It's clearly achievable.

Who else was in for Kagawa, then?

They could get it done quickly because it was a bargain bucket deal.

United could do another ten of those type of deals in the next 24 hours and it would still mean fook all.

They go after players they already KNOW they can get, because they are strictly second-best.

We go after players we know we should buy, because they are strictly the best.

Vive la difference.

The danger is that our targets do very well in the Euros and other clubs come in for them.

I stand corrected! :o) It just becomes a little irksome when that mob start making moves and we as usual have long drawn out affairs. But as you say it's a price worth paying when we are going for strictly the best.......

I would suggest our targets won't have anything to prove at the Euros, and the so called other clubs will already know all about them.

If that becomes the case, even less clubs will be able to afford and compete with us!

-- Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:25 am --

United need a shot of impetus, we don't.

United signed Jones, Young and De Gea very early.

We signed Nasri and Aguero relatively late.

We won the league, United won fuck all.

Let them play the big fish in the 50p shop.

are we in the market for current big name players from abroad i'e Ibrahimovic, or are we looking to build a younger team of not so know quality ?

My mind is officially at ease, cheers! Haha

Martinez, Bale and RVP would be an unbelievable summer if its true that we hope to snap up all 3.

The 'City are ruining football' brigade would be out in full force.
