hmmmm i'm slightly concerned about our transfer targets.

bale? very inconsistent for me.

martinez? not proved in the prem, not had the best of games every time i've watched him.

RVP? don't think he'll come, and it will probably drag out all summer.

M'villa, belhanda and the like, not done much yet, couldn't say i would consider them an improvement on what we've got.

not sure myself.

Martinez superb as proven in the prem as aguero was or silva or has hazard.

Bale is top too class wound be a great signing.

Bale, granted he is proven but he can be inconsistent.

A centre back is a difficult one though, you really have to settle in and get to grips with it from the off.

Come on city Chelsea are giving it the big I am let's start flexing a bit of power bale ,RVP ,and a Defender

Either of Subotic or Hummels would be an asset to our defence. You don't win the league without a solid defensive unit to ensure you can protect leads and close games out. I can't particularly contemplate who we would sign centre half wise if premiership prove, Vermaelen is the only one I can imagine tempting me and he is a rock at the back for Arsenal so wouldn't be available.

Midfield wise, Sneider would be a good buy and Bale would be aswell but whether we can obtain the services of either of them is questionable. I'd like to think that we could involve Adebayor in any bid for Bale personally because the fee we would receive for him would be nothing in comparison to how much we paid for him. He would be of more benefit as a part-exchange. I suppose the only alternative is to hope that PSG come in for him. Either them or that rich russian side that is blowing smoke up everyones arse and buying some decent players.

Up front I'd write off the possibility of RVP moving to us. I'd like Falcao as first choice but I think Mario Gomez would be an excellent back up choice despite the fee he would command. I'd consider part-exchanging Dzeko in return for him such is how highly I rate him.

bale is inconsistent but mancini is good at coaching players to improve and he would get the best out of bale imo

Gomez? Why would we swap Dzeko for an inferior Dzeko?

Dzeko is a better footballer than Gomez, Gomez is just fortunate enough to be in a system that suits him perfectly. Dzeko would score 30-40 goals a season in the same system. Take them both out of such a system and it's hard for them but Dzeko is a much more talented overall footballer. Gomez is clueless outside of the penalty area but lethal inside it.
