Which is why we won't sign him. Aren't you listening?

Who says we have a chance, and why would you want to break it up in the first place?

?

how do you know it would be better

and all this speculation is just that, speculation.

Ok. Well I hope your using the same logic with Van Persie and your against signing him for the same reason. In fact I hope your against us signing any players all together, because by your reasoning we just don't know whether they will improve the team, anything to the contrary would be speculation. I just don't want you to be a hypocrite.

If your going to apply false logic then at least apply it consistently.

I would give up. Classic case of someone believing they are smarter than they actually are.
Nope, just being realistic and practical.

isn't everything TH saying pointing to a huge shock, i.e. surprise?

someone to make the world really stand up and take notice — either its a package of three world class (silva, ibra, de rossi/martinez) or someone like ronaldo?

what about neymar?

Neymar would be a surprise, a bad surprise, but one nonetheless.

Zab and Silva going absolutely nowhere.

so realistically we are looking at dzeko and tevez that will be going and maybe de jong?

I would add Kola and Kolo to the list...both popular players in some quarters.

That's exactly what I made of them

For some reason I think it's Richards who might be on the way out. As much as he did improve last year he still isn't comfortable carrying the ball forward has a pretty poor crossing ability and still sleeps in in defence, and is caught out not getting back when he does go forward. Mancini was always very non-committal when asked about him going for the England set-up and hasn't vetoed the Olympics in favor or a preseason with the club. I mean the other 2 older players are well into their 30's and won't be playing as automatic first team players next year.
It wouldn't be my ideal way to do things this summer but if the owners want to fast track us for a European challenge then I would imagine Richards, Lescott, de Jong,Barry and Tevez would be the ones to lose out. I get the feeling Dzeko might not be safe either as I suspect
there is still a feeling of being let down by him on Mancini's part from that night in Munich. He started most games before that and was scoring plenty but after he seemed to be put to the bench for Mario who seems to be Mancini's private project but I suspect he will have to step up this year or see his bags packed

Can't see richards going, imo he was the best attacking full back in the prem last year. forget crossing ability, he flies into the area at pace which opposition defenders hate. his aerial ability is fantastic, and he's strong.

And possibly even more important...he is English and City trained.

really thought we'd had heard something by now. nearly the middle of july and seems we've been linked with everyone. and with marwood 'supposedly' jetting in and out of spain and italy surely thought we'd have had some sort of 'manchester city are in talks with 'insert name' ' headline at least some point

and yes, i am an impatient bastard

Milan can go do one if they think they can come an raid us after selling Ibra and Silva.

I want to keep our striker force as it is, it is world class!! The chemistry is there to win the Champions League in my opinion.

Dzeko may leave but Tevez wont want to sign another contract somwhere else when he has said he wants to retire in argentina soon. He will see out his contract and then leave for Boca.

Him and Kun are dynamite anyway. I don't want us to lose that!
