Exciting times ahead.

In Mancini I trust.

If it takes time so be it. Transfer deadline not until 31 August.

oh ffs I can't take another 7 weeks of this. I wasn't really bothered by other transfer windows, always excited, but not bothered.

The only name i recognise there is Rabello, when were we linked/interested in the rest?

Milosevic had a successful trial at City but Benfica jumped in and probably offered him a faster promotion (it helps clubs like this have a B team in the 2nd division while we have the EDS in comparison!).

Bonatini we've been after since last year when a Santa Cruz swap was touted but that didn't happen. Recently he said: "I've received a proposal from Juventus, as well as from Manchester City, which incidentally is the latest among those that have reached me."

Dybala is the latest, the one the papers were saying is the new Aguero but the newest info says Palermo will get him because they moved faster. But there is still a chance we could hijack this as it's not a done deal. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2169592/Manchester-City-want-Paulo-Dybala.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... ybala.html</a>

Ntcham was supposed to be the big one and could still be but Inter are confident of getting him. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-city-set-patrick-vieira-in-pursuit-of-french-midfield-prodigy-jules-ntcham-7654770.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 54770.html</a>

I'd like to think that these aren't being used against the club i.e. "why can't we finalize a deal these days"

because if a guy had trials at the club (can't find anything about it, not saying you're lying though) but not offered a deal (I assume he wasn't or else you would have said) then the club obviously knew what they were doing.

And this Bonatini kid, well we see agents dropping our name for fiscal gain, players do it too (seems far to random and low key to be concrete interest)

As for the last one, it may have no quotes or any concrete info but at least it got it's own story (some credibility even if it is the mail)

I typo'd his name, it's Mirosavic. Here's some info about him:

Arsenal and Manchester City have lost out in the race to Benfica to snap up Swedish U-17 captain Robert Mirosavic after the young star had successful trials at both clubs earlier this year.

The Helsinborg winger had gone on trial to the Emirates in January this year and managed to impress Arsene Wenger. But as the manager pondered over a move for the talented Swede, Benfica have rushed to get the signature of the player.

The 17 year old went on trials all over Europe to various clubs in Bundeliga and Eredivise before visiting Manchester City earlier this summer. Roberto Mancini was also believed to have developed a liking for the young star but while others deliberated over a move, Benfica jumped at the chance to sign him. The Premier League duo offered Mirosavic the chance to train with them in the pre season but the player chose regular football with the Portuguese side.

And this Bonatini kid, well we see agents dropping our name for fiscal gain, players do it too (seems far to random and low key to be concrete interest)

We have definitely been after Bonatini through our South American scouts and his team more or less confirmed it when they proposed a swap deal with Santa Cruz last year but as usual the wages made it impossible. I doubt the kid himself would say he got an offer unless he really did since he'll earn little wherever he goes.

Again, the club offered him to us, maybe that's what the player is saying when he takes about offers.

If we wanted him then I'd imagine we would take the swap or at least negotiate.

And again the guy on trial, if the club wanted him they would have made an offer but they didn't.

So we haven't 'missed out' on those two, I doubt Arsenal fans are saying they missed out on the kid.

Interest and offers are completely different and unless the club say we have made an offer then I'll reserve my judgement.

A few people on this thread need to seriously wobble their heads..

"city can't finalise deals"

"I am concerned about the lack of movement in the transfer market"

Look up the following saying...

Patience is a virtue!

Our owners..do you really really think they haven't discussed targets with Roberto etc etc. Some fans need to relax and as TH says...just wait for the bombs!
