It's quiet 10, no apologies! (continued)

Out of Tevez and Dzeko we should try and sell Dzeko. I really rate him but you can see he is suffering because of the style of play we are now using.

I wonder if we can work a deal to get Pato.

Why can't PSG come and raid us for some of our unwanted players?

PSG were very interested in signing Tevez and Adebayor, but they didn't want to go there.

You should not believe Joorabchian. Both Leonardo and Ancelotti (independently) confirmed that PSG were not prepared to meet the (extortionate) wage demands of Tevez. For example, on February 10th, Ancelotti said:

"We spoke with his agent - we wanted to have him - but we couldn't reach an agreement. I don't think he'll change his idea about how much he wants to earn."

This flatly contradicted what Joorabchian had said in his infamous TalkSport interview.

Those who argue that we should keep Tevez really should listen to that interview. Amongst other things, Joorabchian said that Tevez did not think that he had anything to apologize for re. Bayern, he admitted that what he had been claiming for the previous 12 months about the reasons for Tevez wanting to leave were untrue and he blamed everything on Mancini. For example: "The relationship with Mancini has never been good ever since Mancini came into the football club". Mancini responded by denying that there was a problem with their relationship. But, in that even more notorious interview on Argentinian TV just before he returned to England, Tevez essentially confirmed what Joorabchian had said. He also talked about the near-fight at half time vs Newcastle, and he lamented the fact that the arrival of Sergio Aguero had undermined his own power at the club.

Towards the end of last summer, Tevez aptly described his relationship with Mancini as "love-hate" - what he really meant was "he loves me; I hate him"!

With Cavani being too expensive, Ibra gone to PSG, and what looks like Tevez or Dzeko (or both) on their way, RVP must be a certainty.

Unless we're still after Falcao.

This could certainly start things moving in terms of in comings.

Tevez back on AC agenda
Argentine wanted by Milan

Carlos Tevez: Was wanted by AC Milan in January

AC Milan are set to renew their interest in Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, Sky Sports understands.

In one of the true sagas of last season, Tevez spent most of the campaign on the sidelines after his public falling out with coach Roberto Mancini.

Milan tried and failed to sign him in January, before he returned to the City squad and helped them to their maiden Premier League title.

But now with Milan ready to cash in close to £50million with the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint Germain, they are ready to come back for Tevez.

Tevez has insisted he is happy at the Etihad, but City want to bolster their striking options and would consider selling the Argentine.

Whilst AC have the 28-year-old as their top target they could turn their attention to Tevez's team-mate Edin Dzeko, should they fail to land the South American.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/7895194/Tevez-back-on-AC-agenda" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... -AC-agenda</a>

Now that we know they will come into some money soon, we should our increase our fee demands w.r.t. Tevez, (only in the case of Milan). If they are desperate to get him, they will have to pay..

It's foolish to think the club will sell Dzeko and Carlos. They won't. One of them will go. Tevez is looking very sharp in pre season and happy. Dzeko is a top player but doesn't match our current system. I'd keep tevez and sell Dzeko. Especially if we can recoup the majority of what we paid for Edin. The club still believe we will eventually sign Martinez.

PSG seem to be disregarding FFP and pushing through with the blueprint everyone expected City to follow.

Mancini must be fed up after the 2 players he identified and targeted at the start of the summer have been on the market and apparently sold elsewhere.

There are not too many defenders of the class of Thiago Silva around.

PSG will be a huge threat to others as a pot 4 team in the CL, particularly as their league is not as competitive as many others.
