Lol, what's the point of even putting that on Twitter? Do they think anyone gives a shit about mundane back-of-house staff and their movements?

That 'social media executive' has to justify his extortionate salary somehow ykno!

Totally agree fella, its like all that complete shite thats posted on facebook-its full of people who feel the need to tell everybody what time they are having a shit and what they have had for breakfast.

Just spent some time reading back through this thread. Tolm and co seem to talk about "bombs" a small number of signings to take us from good to great. That cuts the targets down to a relatively small group of players - most of whom are already at big clubs and are largely unobtainable. Of the people discussed would it be fair to summarise our targets as follows:

Martinez - now looking unlikely, he shows no desire to push for a move and has probably been told that Barca will come in for him in the future - probably next summer. I guess if we activate the release clause things would get interesting but, that's a little over priced and I guess we will have sounded out whether Martinez is up for it.

Villa - may be an option but age and recent injuries may count against that. Not really the sort of signing I'd expect but he'd be a good option on the left and up front.

On the basis that most of the better players in Spain are either at RM or Barca or are effectively RM or Barca bound (a la Alba) its difficult to identify any further "bomb" targets in Spain. I'd therefore assume Marwood's Spain trips may be related to an out (Tevez) rather than an in.

There's some speculation re German players but I just can't see that - German's tend not to leave the Fatherland - except for RM.

In Italy there is clearly a backdrop of financial reality setting in. Milan may not be the only people selling the family silva!

If Silva and Ibra are both PSG bound that cuts the options considerably. I'd be amazed if we don't move for Silva if he's available. I won't comment on Ibra because he divides opinions but he could be an option.

Lavazzi is already gone and we don't seem prepared to pay the extortionate fee being demanded for Cavani. Personally, I'm not sure whether we play to his strengths.

De Rossi effectively closed the door when he signed a new contract @ Roma.

Juventus don't need to sell - given their financial backing from Fiat - so I'm scratching my head re other targets in Italy. there is certainly not the quality in Serie A that there was a few years ago.

That leads me to believe that our targets are either in the Premiership RVP - but god knows who else! Or are further afield - Portugal, Russia or South America.

I guess we will all have to be patient but the club (if they are up to anything) have done a brilliant job of concealing our targets.

Our owners are simply brilliant so I remain convinced we will all be Happy come the end of August.

I fancy a possible move for Falcao. The most recent quote from him was that he was tightlipped about his future in Spain.

I'm going to really piss off the Falcao fans now, Chelsea are sniffing around him aswell as Hulk.

Expect a couple more big ones from Chelsea before the window shuts
