Which is why I am waiting with baited breath at seeing who we will sign, not because of this window but future windows because I need to know who TH thinks are "Top drawer" players once we know who he thinks are top drawer should make it easier in future.

Players that would make my transfer window and who I think are top drawer.

De Rossi
Sahin/Benega

I like the players you have stated but IMO top drawer players who will make the World sit up and notice who we are signing would be like a bomb dropping would be players in the mould of

Ronaldo
Messi
Iniesta
Rooney
Neymar

And I don't see either of those signing

Those are Atom bombs, Rooney because it hurts United and the others because they are amazing.

Bombs have sizes haha. I think TH means its about making a few quality signings which will be like bombs going off to rivals rather than total without Nuke stuff. I.e Tranny.

Also Real and Barca are the elite, they are the predator at the top of the food chain, selling key players would be like them conceeding territory to a prey. Only on their terms do players leave, both have taken from top clubs repeatedly and gave little away in return bar players they deem as surplus whom are surplus to requirement or haven't reached the level they were meant to.

Spain is in a credit slump and Barca and Madrid need to sell to buy so if they want funds for Neymar, Martinez etc they may need to sell.

Madrid like Tevez so a deal could be made with them.

But this is guess work but hopefully all will be revealed soon.

RVP is on 85,000 a week think he will end up getting about 150,000 we have Balotelli and aguero for the future here we have a chance to improve the team and make money! Tevez has only had one season with us when he has demanded a transfer, and RVP worst injury plagued season he played more games then tevez last year and has also played more games in his career!

We could sell Tevez for 25 mill and sign RVP for 17 mil and save a fortune on wages, thats a no brainer for me.

RVP wants the same wages as Tevez if not more, he wants that 200-250k a week lucrative contract now!

We should keep Tevez as he is part of the Champions winning squad whether anybody likes it, he is proven in our team, part of the argie trio and works well with Kun.

RVP is getting old, injury prone (1 OK year does not count) and has a huge ego! We need a younger option if we are going for a striker - I thought we are creating a dynasty not a quick fix!

They are 6 months apart age wise (Tevez and RVP) it's not like Van Persie is on the cusp of retirement.

id have to disagree with sams post(not a dig mate)..as i posted on another thread,tevez was missing for 6 months of a 10 month campaign,we dint do too bad without him..and im pretty sure if we did not win the league....everyone on here would be pointing the finger at tevez....as for a injury prone RVP...279 apps for arsenal 132 goals...he's had 2 really bad seasons with injury,one he made 15 apps and the other 16 apps.....that could happen to any player...apart from that hes played similar amounts to any other player..

As previously mentioned Tevez's wages wouldn't count for FFP but RVP would.
