i hate all these vague generic videos that refer to legacies or bombs or what have you. they make me think that any actual signings are a way off; i would prefer videos that refer specifically to a player.

TH, are we likely to make a signing within the next week?

Until a band decide to dedicate some lyrics to players or the vagaries of the transfer system, it's the only platform available.

There are a lot of impatient posters on here, i think people think that all City have to do is agree the money, the player signs a form and thats it done..


I would imagine its more along the lines of buying a house, agree terms, then start the legal process, get your survey done and if the house is sound exchange contracts..

There were no meetings with Lewandowski reps. An enquiry is very different.

We have already told Caen that we will match the official offer made by Arsenal on Monday.

There was a plane waiting to take the boy direct to Austria because Mancini wanted to take a proper look.

The problem could be that Niang really enjoyed his time with Arsenal and what they had to say, and it's a big decision for such a young lad.

It'd be dumb for him to join us, go to Arsenal for a few years, run down your contract and double your wages with us just as he's hitting his prime.

Plus with Arsenal he'll play, with us he'll play Oldham in the youth cup. No-brainer for the lad really

Van Persie has done all he can, it's now a case of how resolute Wenger is during the remainder of this window.

Even Arsenal briefings aren't 100 per cent sure he will travel on Saturday.

We're not about to sell a striker and hand Wenger more of the initiative.

it would appear from Tolmie's post above that he is led to believe that Tevez is staying and that Dzeko is going. It would certainly appear that way as there appears to be no agitating through the media by Kia and friends. It would also appear that it would be difficult for Tevez to get the move he wants at least in this window (Italian and Spanish clubs appear to have reigned in their spending). Next year he would be in the RVP situation so it may suit him to sit tight for a year and wait until his transfer fee is lower.
