I applied direct to Tolmies Hairdoo to become his agent,he said he doesn't know me,that makes me not in the know.
Think he is genuine, and posts what he can, without incriminating himself, which will always make him a tease, inevitably.
Most transfers are political/financial/status led,add in agents agendas and
most fans can see why these things take time.

Tolmie, last summer you remained very coy on possible links to aguero until it was in the public domain.

I'm hoping lightning is gonna strike twice concerning Javi Martinez

Sometimes it's not what you say, its what you don't say :)

I like the cut of your jib ;)

IMO it's us, Barca and Bayern. Barca can't afford him (they proved this with T. Silva who they reaally wanted) and Bayern have stated he's too expensive. That leaves us, I personally think £20mill maybe £25 mill at a max is fair. £30 is robbery imo.

But yeah, I can't see anything other than him signing for us should he move. Certainly not United as is often quoted.

I think Arsenal will sell RVP to the highest bidder, which means its a matter of time only and we will see him joining his old mates.

BTW, Regarding the common debate of Tevez or Edin it's simple;

Tevez - Complete loon, world class and can single handedly change games, fits system and can play as Forward or CAM

Dzeko - Affable fellow, world class one day and average on another, can be anonymous but can be deadly, doesn't fit system, can only play as Forward.

As a human you choose Dzeko, as a player you choose Tevez. Getting the most out of Tevez is a lot simpler than it is Dzeko.

Perfectly put to be honest.

RVP is the person that signs the contract. He chooses his move and whilst Arsenal would prefer him to Juventus I can only see him in blue. Just hope his wages start with a 1 rather than a 2.

-- Wed Jul 18, 2012 1:16 pm --

If you are correct, then Arsenal have nothing to lose in stretching this whole saga out throughout the window.

It's not as if Arsenal will spend the RVP money on new arrivals!

Van Persie's perceived transfer value right now is between £20m-£25m - exactly the same as Arsenal can recoup for securing Champions League football from one Prem campaign to the next.

Van Persie can only do so much in this whole stand-off.

Wenger was quite prepared to play Nasri in Arsenal's opening games last season, regardless of the fact he could have been seriously injured against Liverpool, kissing goodbye to £24m in the process.

For me, he has nothing to lose. They 'only' pay him £80k a week as it is.

They save themselves a bundle in not paying improved terms, and can possibly reconcile themselves Van Persie's value would be much lower next season, due to his age, if he was still under contract to them.

Call it currently £5m a year in wages, no more than a hypothetical £10m transfer value for a player approaching 30, next year.

Arsenal could easily justify holding him to his existing deal, there's a £10m profit margin, right there, in relation to him contributing to another top four finish this season.

It's by no means black and white, despite what we do.

Until Tevez pulls another one of his stunts and we crash out of another major competition and try to figure out what to do with him instead of focusing on winning the league while he plays golf. People just loooooove to talk about how he came back and helped right the ship. Of course, it's a ship he almost capsized single-handed. Why his twattish attitude even started infecting otherwise players with good attitudes like Dzeko.

Tevez... talented? You bet. Worth it? As long as you can trust him. Can you trust him? Not for long.

This debate on TH reminds me of abstract art.

You either understand it or not.

You will think a 10 year old kid, with his arms broken, could do the job, yet when you come to do it, you don´t know where to start.

The experts will revel in a piece and glow over its originality, yet find out later a 10 year kid with his arms broken drew it.

Some will wax lyrical about some old news, yet find out it was fake, made up by a journalist to spot the frauds.

Then there will be originals and people will pay good money for them.

Either way, you takes yer choice or leave it.

I don´t see many walking into art galleries and shouting this is shit until the early hours of the morning and fretting over something that may or may not be true.

No one asks you to read the posts, no one claims everything is right.

Just discuss the stuff that is brought up.

Perhaps we should focus on other incomings now that wenger has the power to drag this transfer saga.
