There is another sinario to why we seem to be a little quiet on the transfer front. We have played the last 2 pr-season games using most of the players from the edds, our policy is to start and use the players that we are bringing through, perhaps they are thinking of introducing some of these lads next season?

Rekik and Suarez are ones I think could feature, CC especially. Would love to see them do well and break into the first team eventually. Meanwhile United lose Pogba, Fryers and Morrison :)

Last season we had the best goalkeeper in the league - No change

We had the best central defensive partnership - Arguable now Vidic is back but dont know how he will be after a year out so no change really

Best midfielder in Yaya - no change

Best striker was RvP - he has yet to go to a team that can challenge us
Second best striker was Aguerro.

We had 6 months without one of the best 5 strikers in the league and he won't be going without a replacement

We have seen time and time again players 2nd season better than their first when they have come from overseas especially so I expect more from Dzeko, Kolarov and Savic should also be stronger. Even Aguerro should be better. And Nasri will be more settled as well.

If we dont sign anyone we will be there or thereabouts so relax. If we do sign someone it will be no doubt worth the wait

United did well with Wellbeck loaning him out to prove he was top PL potential and getting plenty of first team experience. IMO this is the best policy. It will only be exceptional players that can move from our academy into our first team. It worked well with Joe hart for us too.

Thing is though mate that was Kolarov's second season and technically Edin has had over a season and a half. Just think there is something from AK that we still havent seen and as I said on the Dzeko thread someone with width and pace with good cross will bring the best out of him.

Let RVP go to United, City has forwards that cost more than 100 million and no need to spend more on this position.

Wouldn't it be sweet to take RVP when fergie is rumoured to be tellin all his mates he has RVP in the bag

Sky Sports understands Premier League champions Manchester City are leading the chase for talented teenager Foday Nabay.

The Sierra Leone-born youngster, who turns 14 next month, is now de-registered as a Birmingham City player.

However, the Championship club would be entitled to training compensation for helping nurture his fledgling career.

Nabay is one of the brightest talents in England with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all reported to be interested in securing his signature.

City are now believed to be in pole position to sign him, with a possible decision on his future expected within two days.

Nabay has already attracted media attention having been remarkably called up by England Under-16s last summer.

The idea of RVP combining with Uniteds physio room makes me cry with laughter. He's been bad enough with injuries at Arsenal, can you imagine him at the scum! bahahahaha
