I wish some people would have some fucking faith in our owner look where we have come from we are league champions and I never thought I'd see that in my lifetime so will all those that are flapping and worried calm the fuck down. Marwood champions the signings of average Premier League players, I bet he and Hughes got along like a house on fire. Mancini's cultured view of football and looking abroad probably conflicts with Marwood's Little Englander mentality.

Did he not have a hand in bringing in the likes of Yaya Toure, David Silva, Sergio Aguero et al, or was it just Mancini and Khaldoon who get credit for that?

It should be well known by now that Marwood loves English/Premier League players, wanted Jordan Henderson, Junior Hoilett and Ashley Young, and threw Owen Hargreaves at Mancini on deadline day because they wouldn't let Mancini sign another midfielder he wanted (didn't that turn out well with Hargreaves?).

And I was told by someone related to the club that Marwood was responsible for Cassell being shafted because Marwood wants the credit for the Etihad Campus youth facility and felt Cassell was synonymous with City youth football so got him out of the way.
