Think you will find that's what people from Central Manchester have always called them!

And I mean from M14 to the City limits, not fucking overspill like North Manchester and Stockport.

Cafe Nero got a special on muffins though.

Tut Tut tolm... I've seen every inch of our fair City and lived in most of it... North Manchester is real Manchester imo.... Ancoats, Miles Platting, Newton Heath, Moston etc... Proper Manchester unlike the South Manchester Student areas. Hard to even spot a Manc accent around those parts.

Not many Manc accents around Moston Lane either these days tbh. Went to the dentist there todat and the whole area stinks of weed lol

For the record I quite like it round there now. It is colourful and busy compared to how grey and drab it was when I went to school round there.

Agreed. We are now cosmopolitan. Can't say that about the South Manchester Shires.

just seen denis suarez in kompany's pic on the plane on twitter hopefully he gets a couple matches in the pre-season so we can see how he's progressing after the u19 championship with spain

Be good to see Denis Suarez. Think this could be a big season for him to break into the squad.

It's a difficult balancing act with talents like him & Rekik as they are so close to being 1st team players yet need to be playing games regularly to progress.

Both could play Premier League on loan rather than dropping down a division imo.

I'm not sure the bottom half of the Prem is stuffed full of midfielders better than Suarez on those counts.
