I can see us missing out on rvp if that's the case. Other teams (juve, milan spuds) etc will be looking to wait out the transfer in the hopes of getting a bargain, and they know we can't buy until we've sold.

Can't wait til Van Persie scores the goals that take us to Champs League glory. I'll be hunting down all the muppets that have said we shouldn't sign him ;). Agger too would be a top quality addition. That would just leave a quality CM and it would turn out to have been a very productive transfer window after all.

I think you have misunderstood, I think TH means city are waiting to sell a striker before signing RVP, not RVP not signing before we sell. Hence RVP telling us to hurry up and who can blame him. As for agger yes please strengh in depth at the back just what we need.
