Adebayor and Santa Cruz are still here and we haven't even come close to signing anybody. It's clear to see he's frustrated at the lack of activity and he has the right to be if it's stopping him doing his job.
He's been very cute and clever with his comments, it's win/win.
He does well and he gets the praise, he does not so well and he already has his excuse "if only i had players early".
I don't blame him, i would do the same in his position
Have you considered that he may just be genuinely frustrated and pissed off? It's his neck on the line at the end of the day.
No offence but you are in no position to judge the competence or not of our negotiators. Largely speaking City's deals are more expensive than others for very obvious reasons.LoveCity said:Marvin said:The ability of City to clinch deals is largely based on the prestige of our team, and the financial terms we offer. The competence of Brian Marwood does not come into it. in fact from seeing him operate as PFA CEO I think he's an able individual.
Imbelices! or more likely rags with an agenda
A better person in Marwood's role would be able to negotiate prices down or find ways to offload players like Liverpool did with Aquilani (£7million fee + £100,000/week wages off the books, bigger wages than Kolo or Santa Cruz, for someone all teams knew Liverpool considered a flop and didn't want). And I'm no rag, it's complete ignorance to say anyone criticising Marwood is an imbecile or rag. Is Mancini a rag because make no mistake he criticised Marwood today in a very public manner?

I'm sure there's 19 other managers in the Prem League that would swap places with him at the moment.

unfortunally (for you and the other xenophobic nationalists like you) seems they didn't deserve that swap
let me be more clear ; if marwood was a fucking spanish or italian and mancini was english i bet my two large balls you now would be here attacking the inept sport director. you and the others like you , i can see many here.
mancini was absolutely right when he said "when it come to fooball english are nationalist".
