i think he will be more turned into a replacement for barry as he has a decent left peg, also just spoke to my everton mates and they said he played as a center half thru his youth so he could be another vinnie.
 
I said last season that we should buy Jack Rodwell.

For me he has the attributes to be a world class centre half.

Quick, strong, decent on the ball, strong in the air, good attitude, reads the game well.
