thanks mate. if this is true and we end up with De Rossi in a city shirt i don't know what i would do

Its.... inconceivable... too good to be true.
But I suspect it will be others as well as De Jong who will leave us though, if we're about to spend that much money on one single player (who's worth it).

rodwell, de rossi
just a winger ie sinclair, i am happy

de jong out ,aj out , i think ade will go eventually. rsc 50/50

good window,,

with de rossi in we are definitely facvourite for the title.
if he signs i will be at the bookies pronto.

however does anyone have info on his "scatia:" in his back? whats the prognosis. should we keep dejong till end of season for cover or is rodwell cover?.........the sheik, khaldoon and mancini you sneaky bastards

shrewd, shrewd business....i will be very impressed

Shrewd but he is potentially so crocked that we need to keep a player as cover? The fee is ridiculous for a 29 year old. I think people have lost all reason just because they want him.

Hopefully Marwood will talk some sense into those at the club that want to spend regardless.

He's a world class defensive midfielder who has another 4/5 seasons of his career left.

Too many people are obsessed with what a player costs and the resale value.

It's the nature of football I'm afraid.

True and good point, i am sure that mancini medics who have done a sterling job so far will have to give him a thorough medical assesment. pending the outcome a decision will be made.

de rossi is an absolute beast with a great range of passing. He could take us 2 the next level . i think if the medics decide he is ok it is a good business decision

dont think rodwell sole purpose will be to cover him, however insurance is always good

Pants down time then?

This would be great news. Mario would also have someone to sort him out too
when he needs a talking to.

Medics? Thorough medical assessment?

No, no, no. That's not how it works around here. It's more of come on in me old mate, sorry about your dodgy leg - hope that get's better soon.

Or at least that's how Mark fucking Hughes ran things. Has it changed?

can someone please explain what this means to me, i read it over and over again and i have no idea what to make of it because it makes no sense

My view is that we've offered way above what they want for him ie 35 mill Euros. To the tune of 40 mill euros + add ons etc, rising to who knows what, but enough to make Roma think we must take this and it is stupid not to except this offer and make them tremble.

Who knows, thank your mothers homemade meat and potato pie that there is less than three weeks to go and then all this stops for 3 months or so!!

I know exactly what I would do.
Straight dowm to the club shop, new maroom shirt with his name and number on the back.
Never had a players name on the back before but for DdR I would happily make an exception.
BTW if it comes to it there is a situation with the No16 shirt. DdR and Aguero tradiionally wear it.
Don't want to get too ahead of myself in this but still....

I worry a bit about his Sciatica, I suffer with it and although I'm ok most of the time but when it hits it hits hard and there isn't really any treatment for it
