This chap reckons Spurs have had a £22m bid for Cavani knocked back and also a bid for Lewandowski. So I can't see them going after Dzeko, unless he's a pawn in their game.

David Silva's play AND body language were lousy on Sunday. I had put it down to no pre-season........Now I think there may be something in this story.

But we have to draw the line somewhere with wages. Carlos's deal was agreed yonks ago and Yaya has proven he is more influential than Dave. Let's hope they reach a decent compromise.

On the flip side, we would surely get a mega player to replace someone like David Silva if he were to go.

David Silva's play AND body language were lousy on Sunday. I had put it down to no pre-season........Now I think there may be something in this story.

But we have to draw the line somewhere with wages. Carlos's deal was agreed yonks ago and Yaya has proven he is more influential than Dave. Let's hope they reach a decent compromise.

On the flip side, we would surely get a mega player to replace someone like David Silva if he were to go.

Fully agree...year on year during the transfer window the media just scan forums such as this and use it to write their bullshit articles using forums such as these as the "sources" and "insider knowledge."
