I think we will get Maicon, Nastasic, Sinclair and Piqué ( well don't really)...

Possible 532
Hart
Kompany Lescott
Maicon Piqué Kolorov
Silva Yaya Nasri
Tevez Aguero

Subs from
Pantilemon
Nastasic, Richards, Kolo
Clichy, Zabba
Milner, Barry, Rodwell, Sinclair
Balotelli, Dzeko

Plus kids.
Without Pique that's got the wow factor.

That line up is fucking insane!!

Replace Pique with DDR and you can see what Bobbie is looking for.

I fucking hate these threads.

It is not time for Skeikh Mansour to do anything, he's done more for this club than anyone could imagine.

Remember where we came from.

Yes, we need to improve, but this attitude of SM needs to do something is absolutely disgraceful.

This. 100%.

It's just an internet forum not a venue for formal royal etiquette and subservience. If you can't be ungrateful sod with a short-term memory here then where are you supposed to go.

IMO the reasons why this transfer window hasn't gone as smoothly as it should and reasons behind the NDJ sale.

Main reasons

1) 25 man squad rules
2) A need to reduce wages with FFPR
3) A need to freshen up the squad without destroying it.

I have said enough about 25 man squad rules see my other posts.
FFPR - Ade RSC and Bridge to name but three. Done.
Freshening up the squad without wrecking it or planning for the future.

Three problem areas.

1) Tevezgate
2) AJ needing more games to get into England squad, missed out on Euros
3) NDJ not signing contract offered.

IMO

RVP lined up as direct replacement for Tevez once it was established he wasn't leaving end of story.
AJ's lifestyle and the fact wouldn't change or listen to Mancini, sold for a profit and replaced with a younger player probably on less wages Sinclair.
Rodwell was signed to replace NDJ club knew he hadn't signed an extension and from that minute on he became a liability. Yes he would have been professional in doing his job but he was only good at defensive role. Mancini has coveted Rodwell for a couple of seasons and not only could he do NDJs role but he could do other roles as well. Only 20 and would probably be on less wages. As for club policy about sustainability it also means Razak will have the chance of coming through from the academy to the first team to join him as and when Barry leaves.
In terms of Savic in the defence after the Charity Shield Mancini hooked him off at half time I believe he had seen enough to decide needed a direct replacement which is Nastivic. Younger and probably more talented.

Finally the Maicon deal, I reckon Mancini asked for a player DDR/Maicon, DDR too expensive but Maicon available. Only trouble being, a player had to make way for him. Tried to get rid of Kolo but Kolo dug his heals in and decided to stay from that moment the only other player who could leave was NDJ. I reckon Mancini told NDJ he could either leave or not take part in CL, given time was of the essence NDJ contacted AC Milan and we had to sell at a ridiculously low price to get Mancini's player.

The above could be bollocks but it is how I see it.

Can't see us going for Maicon because we might not get De Rossi.

One is a right back the other is a defensive midfielder.
