I dint think £20m is enough, but you'd think offering them £100m - £35m more than the buyout - would be enough to make them think.
The league is over for them but they showed they can win the Cup with Haaland last year and theyd consider that a good return.
Once Torres head was turned doing a deal for Jan was the sensible thing to do. No point in keeping an unhappy player. And if Barca went elsewhere he might not even get a summer move
What? He couldn't stretch to £50, or have you earmarked £7.50 for an alternative?
Dortmund won’t miss out on Champs league. You are probably right, Dortmund would want to factor in the risk of missing out on Champions League qualification between now and the end of the season, certainly.
There has to be a way to keep the original fee down, even if it is a £20m premium on the buyout and maybe another £20m in future bonuses?
Brilliant. He would be able to do his own 2022 calendar for us.Yes, Phil Jones is available for £7.50. Homegrown, too.
Seriously, I can’t believe this point keeps getting madeDortmund won’t miss out on Champs league.
This after Tebas publicly says he advised Barcelona to sign Haaland? BullshitJust posted on Torres thread but ESPN (Marcotti) is doubtful the transfer will go through without Barca selling as La Liga will stop it.
Must be something we don’t know as he ran through the figures and said it breaches La Ligament rules as quoted fee plus wages.
Of course he could be wrong but interesting info.
