This screams pep extension.

But I feel as if that would be very obvious. I wonder if it has more to do with the marketing he would as compared to some of our other players, or if that would be classified as monetary. Could it be assurances over the regime in charge as well, (R.E Txiki, Ferran, Omar?)

I also think that a release clause is something that would’ve been clear long ago and either the club would be okay and continued to negotiate or not
