It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

If you're Jesus would you want to move to Spurs? yes it's easier to get into their first XI than ours but he's not displacing Kane or Son, so he's going to be directly up against Kulusevski who's started life in England brilliantly

He may as well stay with us at least if he's a squad player he'll win trophies

At least at Arsenal he starts for them at LW, CF or RW and becomes one of their top 3 players

Kabore has been linked to Birmingham so not unrealistic to see how Burnley can get him

Doyle and Harwood-Bellis are probably above championship level but they could maybe do with 6 months there, Delap needs first team football

But there has to be assurances, no point in them leaving if they aren't going to get gametime
Where was this?

For a 4 time premier league champion who's played in a champs league final?

Try 50.

He could well be playing for Leicester, and he'd still be a 50m player. He is versatile, proven, has a great work ethic and hitting his prime. Can't replace him for below that, so that should be a fair starting point.

A couple of thoughts on this.
1. Why the fuck would City sell to these pricks after last summer unless they will pay above anyone else.
2. They continue to buy these players they are a potential rival so again why sell to them.
3. Why would gabby go where there is just as much composition for forward places as City and no guarantee of game time.
It's an interesting one. I completely agree with your first point and hope we either tell Levy to piss off or add 10m onto Gabby's price for them.

In terms of Gabby's motivation, maybe he's thinking long term and sees more of a project being put together at Spurs. Son is 30 next month and Kane is closing in on 30 and will surely need a bit more rotation as he goes on, and Gabby has time on his side to potentially become a big player for Tottenham over time. Plus, they're in the CL, while Arsenal aren't.

It's tricky though. At Arsenal, he'll seemingly get a lot more game time, work with a manager he knows and who admires him greatly, and be a much more vital part of their team straight away, whereas at Spurs he runs the risk of spending large periods on the bench once more. There's pros and cons to both. Personally I think he'd be better off going to Arsenal and I don't like the idea of us strengthening Spurs as I'm utterly sick of the sight of them.
