If we lose Sterling and Jesus I’d expect another to come in. I just think Foden, Mahrez, Palmer, Alvarez, Haaland, Grealish leaves us a tad light. If I’m wrong then great. But there’s a lot of expectation for Alvarez and Palmer to immediately replace Sterling and Jesus which would be tough.
I also feel that Foden should be a central player I think he’s that good he needs to be in the middle where he can affect the play. We can also get another attacking player into the side. Probably why I will never be a manager.

If Alvarez is rotating with Mahrez, who exactly is rotating with Haaland? One of the three is going to end up playing a silly amount of games. One has never played European football, one has a patchy injury record of late and the other is 31.

Alvarez will rotate at both the striker and right wing, many of our players play in multiple position already

Yeah thats what Im hoping BUT we seem to have a strategy of letting anyone go who wants to.....regardless. Pep has as much said it.

Whether you/we/I agree with that stance or not is another debate bit I believe its pretty accurate

But the money has to be right...I don't see Barca being able to move for Bernardo even if they unload FDJ...and if they somehow do and Bernardo wants to go we could easily spin that money into another big time player, whether a middie or a winger with Foden then sliding back into the midfield...

Like i said...i dont think that is the case...

We have lost Ferna as well remember - possibly being replaced by phillips

But as i said i think we had one of the smallest squads last year padded out with quite a few EDS lads. So we probably have space..

Losing Gabby, Sterling and potentially Bernardo and not plreacing any of them would be huge...
