Hopefully Bernardo stays but I do think if sterling and Jesus go that another winger would be preferable.

I don’t understand the flapping.

We have two fantastic young strikers already in the bag.

Two more potential good solid signing coming in to cover areas of weakness (hopefully).

Bernie is not going to be leaving.

If Sterling leaves we will have a more than capable replacement and potentially a huge name, though if he leaves or not is still up in the air - All gossip for now.

And there is still an outside chance of another name coming in that would make people sit up and think.

Chill, it’s silly season and the rollercoaster hasn’t come to a stop yet / lots more rubbish to be spouted on Twitter and in the press but we should trust the process.

Not a big name but a real strengthening in defence, really spurious outside chance event that I had thought gone away but keep reappearing in conversations - not sure why.

We are not selling either Aymeric Laporte, John Stones or Ruben Dias this season so Pau Torres wouldn't make too much sense for this season

All opinions I suppose, but it’s just a guess. FWIW I like Ake but the fact we’re signing a LB will see his game time reduced further, he is in that group of players looking at the World Cup & minutes they are likely to get at City, as well as moving forward after the WC, he isn’t afraid to take a backward step to move his career forward & I personally feel Torres is a good replacement, I’d have to watch him in the flesh before knowing if he’s better than Ake
