Yeah, seems a bit early for a succession. Walker is still as good as ever.

Maybe going for a 3 at the back and moving Walker to cb?

We may end up with a new RB and LB if Zinchenko leaves. Cancelo/Cucarella on the left, James/Walker on the right.

I think City have been tapping up James for a while now, he’s the perfect Walker replacement. Good in defence, good going forward and English. Walker has still got another few years at top level, but when you’re at the top you can’t afford to be complacent.
