I don’t know, some of the links are out there, but I think the club is good at keeping targets, players who want to leave and players we want to sell well hidden until the end of the season. Haaland may not be the only big name

Mendy replacement but could be left or right given than Cancelo can play both sides.

Fern replacement. I don’t get how it’s become a thing that a Fern replacement has to be a back up to Rodri. We don’t do backups the target is to have two good players for every position with a lot of matches that have to be shared to keep injuries down. Rodri cannot feature in every game and needs to rest sometimes without the standard dropping.

Aguero replacement. Still. Almost certainly Haaland.

I wonder if Alvares is a replacement in case Jesus goes. Sterling will run his contract down.

Re Mahrez - it's taken him a while but he's got quite a specific role in the attack now, as a useful outlet for the diagonal switch to the right wing, coupled with immaculate first touch which would be missed if he goes. Especially if we evolve to a faster attacking system next season with Haaland.

mahrez finished his first season with 12 goals and 12 assists in 2500 minutes. grealish has 5 goals and 3 assists in 2400 so far. the fact people are comparing the 2 debut seasons is insane.

It might also be worth considering how defensively teams play against us than 3/4 years ago. Grealish has also put plenty of chances on a plate for numerous players and the chances have been missed. I imagine if a striker was on the end of those chances, it would be an assist for Jack.
I’m not saying Grealish has been outstanding, but worth looking at the bigger picture.
