We have to get another winger. We let Jesus & Sterling go, Palmer can't replace both of them ffs.
We have the smallest squad in PL as of now in a season where 5 subs will be allowed.
We are actually finished because we basically sold our depth for no reason.
Why would we end a Summer transfer window on a net positive after winning PL again?? Who are we trying to please, people who will never respect us anyways?

Load of nonsense, I expect we will start the season of at least finish the window with the same size suad as last season which isn't the smallest in the league, and has the most quality.

Honestly would be very happy to see palmer and mcatee getting some minutes. Gutted Sammy edozie seems to be leaving thought he would be a decent option with sterling and Gabby gone.

5 subs don't necessarily require a bigger squad. It may be the opposite! Why? Because the option for 5 subs allows the manager to keep players fresh which reduces the chances for injuries.

Given that we are winning at least 30 % of the games by 2-3 goals with 20 minutes to go, the option for 5 subs will help Pep to keep our stars fresher than in previous seasons while giving more playing time to youngsters.

Palmer takes Torres place. If we sign another winger, Palmer's path will be blocked. We don't need another winger, for Foden and Alvarez can play on both wings, Bernardo can play on the right side too, and we have also Grealish, Mahrez and Palmer.

Let's look beyond mere numbers and take into account the versatility of the available players. We have enough options on the wings, plus more exotic like Edozie (still here) and Kayky.

Earlier on in the window I had openly disagreed with this, albeit recognising some logic in it. Now, I have come round to thinking it is not just likely but might be a good thing.

All depends on how quickly Alvarez adjusts, how big a step Palmer can take, wnd whether Grealish settles in this season. Bit too many ifs, but an additional player would need to settle too, and there would be more chop and change for all involved.

We have Grealish,Foden,Mahrez.Bernardo and now Alvarez.Add the emerging brilliance of Palmer,even McAtee,and we are mustard.
If we play Cancelo and Cucu,even more so.

Bernardo hasn't played on a wing in ages and Alvarez is a striker.
We need to get Felix/Leao, Cucurella & Sosa this Summer.
