If true that's a good deal just put a buyback clause for 40-50 million as I think they won't accept anything less considering the risk they're taking, and you can't really blame them for it.

If we sell Delap, we'll probably break the record for most money generated from transfers in a calendar year - over 250m. And we won't be done, several fringe players like Edozie, Herrera and Couto could be sold too!

There will be a buy back Southampton have never had an issue with them before and cant imagine they will with delap. We have haaland Southampton will be thinking its highly unlikely we trigger our buy back.I think we'll let him go for that unfortunately. We played with no striker for 2 years. We will do okay with two strikers. Delap will get game time. Think this will be a good deal only if there will be a reasonable buy back clause. We have to go strong into market next year to get wingers and probably Bernardo replacement.
