What sane person would then turn down a move to Chelsea when City have walked away.
Cucurella by all accounts did he could and we didn't come forward. Simple

Nice signed Aaron Ramsey yesterday tooI see Kasper Schmeichel is away to Nice, strange move. Always hypothetically kind of thought he would be a good one to bring in as a senior keeper to have around as one of the 3, being club trained and not taking up a spot. I guess with 3 spare spots this year, that is hardly a consideration.
Funny how we have gone from years of discussions of 'squad is too full, might need to drop someone (Carson) from the CL squad' etc, to, we now have 3 registered spaces to fill.

No we haven't. We've tried to buy him at what we consider his value to be. Unfortunately Brighton wouldn't accept that and now he's going elsewhere.Agree he's burnt bridges with Brighton and we've left him hanging.
I do trust the club, would not question them normally but it feels a bit all over the place our business this summer.
Haaland is a an incredibly good signing but then letting Jesus, Sterling, Zinchenko go is weird. They are going to be a massive miss due to their goal out put / assist out put and with Zinchenko his utility.
As now looking at our bench in the community shield there's not much experience on there or depth. The dippers bench had alot more senior experience than ours that's a worry.
If your a outsider looking in and take the blue specs off. I'd say right now we have the worst depth in the top 4 due to the academy guys being unproven. Windows not over but if we don't rectify it, it really could be a worry. Especially at full back. Plus the amount of competitions this year

we may not even get a LB mate let alone anyone else! I feel we are a wide player short and a left back.
