Unknown to who? I've seen enough of him to be happy it wont be that much of a drop off. Comparing the two in with the two out. Id take the two in. (Although Haaland is taking the brunt of the step up there tbf)

What the fuck are Chelsea going to do with Cucu? They have Palmieri and Chilwell already. I'm assuming one of the two mentioned above will be out the door or they will all take turns getting arse sore for sitting 2 of three matches or something?

I would take chilwell if he could stay fit, which is a big if, I’ve not seen his injury record but I think he only has had one big injury so it isn’t the need of the world. When he’s fit and ready though he is the top 3 Lb in the league probs only behind Robertson.

unknown to this league, don't compare him to Sterling, his numbers/record are stunning, if Alvarez has the same career level he will be an outstanding signing.

The only issue with Haaland is keeping fit, if he does he will be our greatest ever player for me.

Agree to disagree I guess. I don't think our attack is stronger, we've added a number 9 but lost 2 very solid and useful profiles in Jesus and Sterling, plus overall depth of attack is also not that good. Midfield more or less the same. And backline weakened considering we did not rid of Aké to replace him, and did not address the left back spot as of yet. Could change by end of window but it has been a very average summer imo. I trust Pep and I hope he extends his contract soon to see the team go into next phase. My expectations will lower if we go in as it is and I do not see us winning anything noteworthy.

Your stressing over nothing really. We've signed haaland who is better than sterling. Alvarez who is a similar player to Jesus when we signed him from Brazil. Both sterling and Jesus had 1 year left on there deals would you rather they go for nothing next year. Yes I understand the zinchenco thing but of we sign a left back then that will also be fine. We've needed a sort of refresh for a while. Maybe we're missing a pacy winger but we play low blocks most weeks so maybe not a huge miss overall. Why did we need to rid of Ake. Ake as 4th choice is a good option. This refresh is good on the long run its been needed for a while. I do think we will sign a lb. Worrying about the season before it's even started i don't understand or before the window has shut.

we don't. Pep will. The squad as a whole (bar lb) is slightly stronger than last year for me.

We have better quality but less players and more obvious gaps in the squad, at left back, wing and 8. We are also more susceptible to an injury crisis than last season, which funnily enough was badly affected by an injury crisis in defence.

We have stripped out a lot of our natural width so that only Walker, Cancelo and Alvarez offer real width on the right and only Foden offers any width on the left.

Unless we’re planning to play Philips as an 8 we may have issues as we only 3 others and both Gundogan and KDB have missed a lot games over the last few seasons. I don’t understand why we’re loaning McAtee out.

We face an incredibly intense season with a World Cup in the middle that likely everyone bar Ortega, Carson, Mahrez, Palmer and Haaland will be attending. Yet instead of adding any depth we’re thinning out the squad and sold a lot players who featured heavily plus young players who were in numerous batch day squads. I really don’t understand the logic.

Been on a Wolves forum - Molineux Mix - and they’re terrified that we are going to come calling for Ait-Nouri.

Fans absolutely don’t want to see him go but feel only he and Neto are the two sellable assets to enable them to spend money. But because of that, they’re hopeful we do buy him so they can re-invest into midfield and sign “another Ait-nouri” type. Biggest flaw is seemingly his fitness as he doesn’t last longer than 70 minutes typically.

It seems, they’re absolutely broke.

I’m sure Jonathan smith mentioned there was a £45m price tag for him earlier in the summer.

Personally, would be chuffed if we signed him as his ceiling is so so high.
