I`d rather have Szoboszlai than Maddison as an attacking midfielder. Maddison is good, not denying that, but Szoboszlai is 4 years younger, and I think we`ll get another 2 years out of Kev. Maddison would be 28 at that time, Szobszlai 24

People wanting players whose name cant pronounce let alone spell instead of Maddison totally forgetting he is an english lad who lives not that far already. Massive bonus and homegrown. And a bloody quality footballer who will go to another level with Pep ffs!

possibly yes. Zinchenko was an attacking player as well, with only his tactical awareness and ball retention that made him suitable to left back yet he's our best left back of Pep's reign (possible exception of Cancelo at his peak)

Great touch, great technique, good set pieces, good passing, excellent shooting, good dribbling.
He's a good age, coming into his prime. He's English, he's hungry.

Unless he's ludicrously expensive I don't see what's not to like about James Maddison.
