It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

possibly true but seems harsh with only one major injury in years

It's very harsh. He handled Mbappe okay in the WC and he's 32 which isn't old in football terms these days. Plenty are performing to the highest level in their late 30s. Even if Kyle loses a bit of pace he'll still do a job. He's pretty much always in excellent physical condition which helps.

I don`t know what anyone else thinks but SSN coverage is getting worse by the day.
Currently having their say Leanne Sanderson and Jamie O`Hara, and it looks like it`s being filmed in Stretford Arndale.
Kinnell this Sanderson needs to slow down when she speaks she`s giving me a headache. And as for O`Hara he`s one thick specimen.
And then they have the "The Transfer Show" where 4 spotty brats just out of short pants sit round a table who know absolute fuck all about what`s going on.

I think Maddison is one of a few English players that’s actually underrated. Since the start of the 21/22 season (18 months ago) he has 41 G&A in all comps. He’s been a one man attack for a long time in a truly terrible side. Vardy is finished, Barnes is decent tbf, but constantly injured and Albrighton/Ayoze Perez wouldn’t get into our EDS. Putting up those kind of numbers with that level of players surrounding him is remarkable. Just imagine what he could do with actual football players around him.

We’ll have to prepare ourselves for the fact that any attacking midfielder we’ll bring in in the future will be a step down from KDB. Maddison would still be a very very good signing. With 12 months left on his contract in the summer he could be a steal

I think he'll end up at CB once his pace leaves him. Possibly go back to Sheffield as well.

She's fucking horrible, like Jack Duckworth in drag.

Bellingham isn't supposed to be a replacement for KDB though. If he was doing what he is good at and putting up numbers like KDB he would be the greatest player in the world.

Bellingham is going to be in the engine room of the midfield, his stats are going to be more aligned with Rodri than Kev,

I was picking out KDB as he was also in the German league.

Bellingham would be more the Gundogan/Bernardo roll however I thought Bernardo at Monaco stood out as a better player.

I wasn't having a go at Walker's quality.

I was making a flippant point that Maddison and Chilwell are sick notes.

As Walker has been injured this season I just said they'd be joining him in the treatment room.
