Same here but the headlines are a little hard to avoid sometimesI tend not to read much of it.
This -HRH, Khaldoon, Txixi etc will already know what is going to happen and will have a shortlist of which manager comes in next after Pep.Pep will not keep them in the dark ... only the media.
True. There’s not much we can do about them. Getting angry just raises our blood pressure.Same here but the headlines are a little hard to avoid sometimes
Pep will by 99% extend... I do not think Haaland would’ve signed otherwise. Like you said, media will get nothing but his closest associates know full and well his thinking and plans. This -HRH, Khaldoon, Txixi etc will already know what is going to happen and will have a shortlist of which manager comes in next after Pep.
It will be a manager to continue with the brand of football which has been set up....Even in his interview about Sergion and the 10 year anniversary of 93:20, Khaldoon mentioned the brand of football which we see that is so important to the whole project - we aint going to move away from that
I do agree but I only see Jesus going... raz and Mahrez will probably stay on the right with Palmer replacing Jesus.I would be sad to see Gabby go. I don't want to see the back of Raz either but would prefer to keep Gabby. However, it's probably time for a bit of a shake-up up front and Raz looks like he might sit tight and go for free so business wise, City probably see this as sensible. The more so if they have high hopes for Palmer.
Mahrez, Sterling and Jesus all entering the final year of their contracts. Would be happy for any or all to extend but we should be looking to sell any that don't.I do agree but I only see Jesus going... raz and Mahrez will probably stay on the right with Palmer replacing Jesus.
I think the real shakeup will be seen if Mahrez or Sterling goes aswell this summer. But currently we should expect more than 2 coming in(excluding departures)
Talk of a release clause (should one exist) also feeds into the 'stepping-stone to Real Madrid' narrative fabricated by the red-shirt obsessed media.but doesnt a release clause mean that if someone comes in and activates it the club have no control whether the player leaves or not? With Kun it ddint matter what bid we received, we could always turn it down and he was tied to city from the moment the ball hit the back of the net in the 93:20 moment...that bond was going to be inseperable as long as we were competitive...
And if a club was to do that they would have obviously sounded out the player and his agent before hand os they would know the player wouldnt refuse?
Its just a bit of a pain in the arse that it gives the wank stains in the media something to hang over his head and the clubs head for the next few years....you can almost guarantee that nearly every piece that is written about Haaland over the next couple of years will contain a line in it somewhere reading something like....
"and Haaland, who has a release clause in his contract for the end of season xxxxx, bagged his second goal of the game soon after............."
Like they wont woman about Pep being given the 200m to spend on the next wonderkid if/when he moves. lolTalk of a release clause (should one exist) also feeds into the 'stepping-stone to Real Madrid' narrative fabricated by the red-shirt obsessed media.
Talk of a clause makes no difference either way, same as AgueroTalk of a release clause (should one exist) also feeds into the 'stepping-stone to Real Madrid' narrative fabricated by the red-shirt obsessed media.
