The club will know exactly what Pep intends to do well before the end of his contract. The point I’m making is that the club will not wait until the end of next season without a decision.

That's pretty much how I see it. Once a player moves here and is successful, they wont and generally dont want to leave, see Kompany, Silva, Aguero, De Bruyne....Not worried about a release clause. He will fall further in love with City and stay forever.
Would have been if he stayed though....That's pretty much how I see it. Once a player moves here and is successful, they wont and generally dont want to leave, see Kompany, Silva, Aguero, De Bruyne....
One exception could possibly be Sane, but he wasn't quite on the level of the worlds best.
Bellingham anyone?I reckon we'll settle between £40-45 million for Gabby. That would be a great price; if you factor in the funds received for Torres that would mean Haaland and Alvarez have arrived for nothing, which means we should have around £100mil to spend on an elite midfielder.
He would slot right into the under 18 squad :)Bellingham anyone?

Lee Bradbury never had a release clause. Sick of these fancy dan modern footballers who think they are too good to sign for City. If we are just looking for a big lump up top I bet there are hundreds in the lower leagues that would love to play for City without any of this other nonsense. Get a real man in to give van dijk a couple of kicks and watch Jonny foreigner go running. £3m max would get us some ex brickie with a broken nose that would terrorise this league with Kev and Phil feeding him.
Bellingham has said he will be at Borussia Dortmund next season - excellent timing and just right for City!Bellingham anyone?
Lukaku said the same at Inter and went to Chelsea anyway…Bellingham has said he will be at Borussia Dortmund next season - excellent timing and just right for City!
I'd have him now without hesitation but I think it would be better the season after. (Bellingham, not Lukaku!)Lukaku said the same at Inter and went to Chelsea anyway…
I’d rather rescue any player from the claws of Marco Rose and Dortmund sooner than later hahaI'd have him now without hesitation but I think it would be better the season after. (Bellingham, not Lukaku!)
